Everyone says he was better than Pogba, Lingard, that entire generation which for the most part came to nothing.

Bit of an idiot though. He's done.

I don't want to even imagine how our midfield would be if we had Rav and Pogba in there. It would epitomise entertainment in football. Can't even imagine them in a midfield together, they would be so fucking good. Look up what Ferdinand said on him, basically Rav got asked to train with the first team and when he was training with them he was basically taking the piss, he was so good and Rio was just shocked at how good this kid was.

He has plenty more years ahead of him, people can turn their career around in a space of months. Look at Chris Smalling, prime example

He's 23, so he definitely has time on his side if he does want to turn things around. Unlike Chris, he needs to change his entire lifestyle and attitude to live up to his potential though.

Yeah I completely agree. I think that's why he's in Italy though to stay away from Wythenshawe and his old friends

Huge talent, oozed potential and could have hands down been world class. Don't see his attitude improving though so I doubt he'll turn it around, even though he still does have time on his side.

Here are some quotes from Ferdinand about Morrison that should answer your question:

“Pogba, [Adnan] Januzaj, [Jesse] Lingard, they used to look up to this boy. That’s what I’m saying, people don’t realise how good he was. Them boys used to look up to him like ‘woah, Ravel Morrison’.”

"Look at Ravel Morrison, this guy was the best young kid I’ve ever seen in my life. Better than Joe Cole when he was a kid, he was doing circus tricks on a football pitch. "

"Ravel Morrison - I’ve never seen a guy look so comfortable on a football pitch. But you can’t just have one element without the other, you’ve got to have everything."

“I’d love to see him have a chance again to come back and show everyone his talent. The kid was just different."

People at the club said he had the most natural talent they'd seen since Scholes. But, no, he will never come back:

At United they will tell you that, goodness knows, they have tried everything. Or, at least, until the past few weeks when the secretary, John Alexander, rang his agent to tell him he should look for another club. By that point, one of the coaches had simply stopped talking to Morrison. His mother went to pick him up from training one day and was told, in the bluntest terms, that her son was a waste of time and not worth the hassle.

His life at United has become a story of no-shows, stand-up rows and other disciplinary matters. Outside the club, 999 has been called more than once. "Write what you want about him," said one member of training-ground staff, expletives removed.

He was amazing, watched him from the very start at the academy on mutv/streams while back. Tunnicliffe, Pogba, and Morrison trio midfield looked so promising...and only one fulfilled their potential :(.

Even if he try hardest now, the best he can get is probably mid/low tier team on premier league. Still got the talent for sure, but never developed since.
