Israel has very strict policies regarding recognizing conversions. It has to be done by specific Orthodox Rabbis who r approved by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. The conversion process is very long and very difficult.

It's the conversion part that's hard.

After you convert, the Chief Rabbinate of Israel has to review your case. This is the only authority (as far as I know) that's allowed to recognize Jews entering Israel. It's a hellish process unless you know a Rabbinate certified Rabbi, and even then, he's obligated to decline your request to convert three times.

As a Canadian: We don't really want these people. Few have the skills we want from immigrants. If they did, we do have immigration programs for them already. Really, TN visas aren't that hard to get if you have in demand skills. I went to New York and it's has more Minorities than Montreal. So imagine Major Canadian cities have a New York esque diversity rate.

The thing is with the Quebecois, they do not eff around to accommodate you if you do not integrate. I have known many Canadians who grew up or lived in Montreal. Ethnically, many were Greek, Armenian, and A-rab, and all of them were forced to learn Quebecois French in order to integrate. Ditto for the Anglo Canadians and Americans I knew who went to McGill, a very excellent university. If you weren't pretty close to fluent en francais, good luck getting admitted to clubs or served in many restaurants.

As an aside, many of the Greeks I knew from Montreal were of Pontic Greek extraction (modern Turkey along the Black Sea). Great people and big community up there, and they, along with the Armenians, suffered tremendous persecution at the hands of our NATO "allies" from Turkey, the same folks flooding Europe with human parasites.
