Wise old man in my village "f#$k them all"

I have used this as my life motto

Needless to say he was not popular but he was happy.

Measure twice, cut once.

Works in a lot more facets of life than just building.

HS Chemistry teacher, on the first day made us look at a candle burning and told us to write down everything we see. This was to test our observstion skills. Most people wrote down maybe 3 to 5 things, but he gave us his list and came up with a list of like 100 things from watching a stupid burning candle. From this and throughout the course he taught us to be observant. Lesson 2 was then to use those observations to be able to recognize patterns in things which he told us where everywhere but not easy to see. I was still blue pill as fuck in HS and for many years to come after, but it was shit like this that helped me start to develop and form the skills to recognize and break free from the matrix and eventually become MGTOW in my late 20s.
