One could go on...

I kind of think this is the time to go on.

There should be a giant 4 page rant about how shitty Watch Dogs 1 was, just to fuck Ubisoft's hype train.

People need to remember what a dogshit game it was.

  • Hacking was lackluster and really straight forward, there was no complexity to it.
  • "revolutionary multiplayer" was lame (and didn't work at launch if I remember correctly)
  • Missions were predictable.

If the internet doesn't roll a hate-train when the new game gets hyped, then we're not going to see changes.

We need a flaming hatred of Watch Dogs 1, and we need it right now.

Somewhat of a shameless plug but I think it is appropriate here.

Hype has its place but it must be tempered for the betterment of this industry .^

Not really.

It has a ton more to do with devs cutting corners to reach release dates.

The game wasn't over-hyped, people were hyped about exactly what they saw in the trailers.

When the game was released, it wasn't even close to that.

It would be like Ferrari showing off "the worlds fastest car" and then upon release 2 years later, it's missing a wheel and can only go 70 mph.

As soon as I saw there was a "weapon wheel" I went "Welp, nevermind. They fucked that up."

I mean for how it was hyped constantly about the hacking being the primary thing, and doing escapes and etc...pretty much literally the first thing you do in the game is aim a gun at a dude.

No. Fuck you. We don't "need" to remind anyone of anything, just to force your opinion on them.

I enjoyed Watch_Dogs immensely and am very excited for the sequel. In fact, I'm super annoyed that I'm flying London to LA on release day so won't get to play it until some time after. Stop telling people what to think just because you don't like it.
