Until one breaks and now you're stuck with some heavy ass shit that you needed an exoskeleton to carry. Plus the exoskeleton.

And God help you if you try to return a broken exoskeleton to CIF.

I see some stains on the exoskeleton, private. Please clean them and return tomorrow. Next!

Maybe, maybe not. If they are, we'd probably get them 50 years after they're outdated anyway.

Call of Duty is not real.

The answer is no. Not for many years.

Highly suggest you delete this, because you will be berated, because this very stupid question is asked waaaaaay too frequently by dumb kids. Just type "exoskeleton" in to the search bar. But that's just me.

no one who actually knows anything about this is going to talk about it on reddit. What you are going to get here is pointless speculation fueled by call of duty and at best articles from popular mechanics. Thus you may have better luck at /r/CredibleDefense

Well first things first. The US Army has been funding exoskeletons for years. At this time I think they are simply planning on them to be used for effort reduction by individuals doing manual labor. There is or was a push to get something in the field to reduce the burden to infantry troops. The Army would like to reduce the typical load infantry troops take with them on patrol. They are literally wearing out human beings because of the excessive loads required by soldiers in the filed. Likely on in SOF at first. But the concept is hamstrung by reality that you need a constant supply of power. So either you bring loads of heavy batteries with you or it generates power also. Which typically leads to noise. So the SOF community doesn't want it. If it raises their noise level in the field it becomes a liability.

Eventually you will see someone come up with a way to reliably and simply power something along the lines of an exoskeleton and when they do the military will be early adopters. And yes eventually you will see them used in combat.

Very much thanks for your input. I am binge reading and watching about these right now.

Unfortunately it looks like fostering a good respectful discussion is not possible with this community.

you don't get anywhere "binging" on anything. How old are you?

most people here probably think discussing something like this with someone who will lose interest in such things in maybe a week tops is a waste of time.

Just found out something on Reddit. Learn something everyday, that‘s why I briwse all kinds of subs.

I‘m in my 20s by the way. Why does that matter? I‘m fortunate to live in a great country, go to a good school, and in general can‘t complain about life.

because it truly is not your business. We're not here to entertain your fads.

Thanks for your input anyway.

LOL apparently not. Don't feel bad. They all have PTSD and lash out at people, dogs, cats, cars, and children. But never strippers.

[–]dynawhey[S] 0ポイント1ポイント  (1子コメント)

That is kind of sad. PTSD therapy does seem to be lacking in both Canada and US. Lash away lol

Are you autistic? Or just plain retarded? Have you considered suicide?
