Moderators can mute people who are harassing them via modmail. Muting temporarily prevents this person from sending modmail to the subreddit.
- Muting only applies to the subreddit in which they were muted.
- The person will be notified via private message that they have been muted.
- Mutes last for 72 hours, after which they are silently removed.
