I've only made 2 comments here and you attack my knowledge and imply you have more on hostage situations? I bet we both have zero. How is that not hypocritical of you to condescend me? Me too. We're both hypocrites.

Maybe it's just a Eurabian thing that they don't take action when something like this happens. In the US this would have 11 guys with pistols out, aimed at him - and if not that, as soon as he fired once, 11 pistols would've fired at the shooter at the same time.

Ok so in your mind it's better to start shooting in an enclosed space with 40 diners + staff and two armed robbers, than wait for them to grab the money and then shoot them in the empty parking lot. Also, I don't claim to know more about a hostage situation than you, what I do claim is that there is no way you can question what they did because they're GIGN and the situation unfolded perfectly. Moreover, I really do not think that the French police should be taking tips on gun use from the American police, seeing as you seem to shoot at anything and end up killing innocent people regularly. Also, come on mate "Eurabian" do you even think before typing such drivel?

Ok, first. He/they brandish a gun. In the US, all of those officers would have their guns pointed (if they don't have them up already) and they'd be yelling to put it down - if they don't comply and the robber(s) raise their guns up, they're dead by 11 officers at once.

If they [US officers] don't have them up at that moment, the robbers would have been be shot from 11 different guys once they make it clear that they intend on using their gun - and he did, firing once to intimidate people in there.

If there's nobody behind the robber or if anybody has a clear shot, yes I believe that the robber would have been shot on sight by any of those 11 armed officers.

I think that the GIGN took a huge risk that fortunately worked out in their favor, letting the man/men with guns do their robbery before getting them outside.

And about my "Eurabian" comment. Europe is turning into a shit hole because of refugees terrorists in disguise and the "no-go" zones and "no law zones". I assume since your media censors information regarding the truth about the refugees (if you're in Europe) and you don't know things such as in this video, for instance:

And why would there be no one behind the robbers considering they were presumably in front of the tills with someone giving them cash from the registers?? Also ricochet is a problem, what if one bullet misses and ricochet into someone else face? All in all, they did the right thing and it turned out perfectly well without the input of trigger happy americans.

Have you been to Europe recently? Do you live there? Lol mate "no go zones". I remember some idiotic "expert" on Fox News talking about them in France. I can assure you having grown up in France that no such places exist. Yes there are rough neighbourhoods, but honestly, no where near anything like Chicago's Southside or Gary, Indiana.

I honestly believe that there is an immigration problem in Europe, and that steps should be taken to limit immigration and ensure that whoever does come abides by our laws, our rules and our values. However, painting every single refugee, immigrant or what have you as a violent terrorist is beyond stupid. Naturally, I expect nothing less of someone who seems to support Donald Trump.
