I was deployed to Iraq in 2004-2005, people don't realize just the simple amount of weight in gear you are carrying to run operations ORF, route clearance, door to door searches. Let's forget the fact we had to have a squad machine gun with us, m240, and someone carrying large cans of ammo. Just the regular rifleman like myself I am wearing full set of dcu, Kevlar body armor with two ballistic inserts, a Kevlar helmet, carrying a steel rifle with multiple mods, a vest over my body armor with 360 rounds of ammo, another 30 in the rifle, all the magazines holding the ammo, tampons to plug bullet holes, combat boots, whatever else you were ordered to carry, a radio for example.

I weighed 180 lbs when I got in country and 205 when I left. I was a cut in shape 180 and put on 25 fucking lbs of raw muscle from the work load I was pulling. Yeah any fresh outta high school girl who stuggles to carry five text books in shorts and a t-shirt could have easily taken my place on the battle field lol.

This girl would have been one of the thousands that don't leave the FOB the Fobbits as we called them.

In the future they'll be infantry platoon leaders because they have a pathological need to lord their cunts over male soldiers and you can't always do that when those guys are off the FOB. You know what I mean. Desert queens, we called them. But they'll still have like 90 pounds of lean mass and we're going to lose guys because of it. And we'll suffer the ass rape of safety briefings, stand downs, rape speeches, and seuxal tension and all the problems that you'd expect from importing sluts into an infantry company.

Well maybe Trump will give military decisions back to people running the military and not push agenda from the White House like Obumblefuck is doing. I just heard on the radio the latest Obama push, we as veterans can now have all our gender fluid issues dealt with at the VA. They will be forced to do Trans op procedures at the VA now. That is what Obama thinks is a priority in VA service. It's sickening I have trouble getting them to give me fucking clonazepam for ptsd, I luckily just have my wife get it through her private provider and she gives it to me, how fucked is that. Meanwhile if I want my dick lopped off and replaced with a pussy they we stream line me some help, I never thought this country would get this fucked up. Literally, thanks Obama.

Point remains though. My female cousin is an Intel officer in the Army and thinks if a woman can hack it she should get the chance... but it would waste resources because a 110lb woman can't ruck 120lbs of gear effectively. Surprise. However if there is some dip chewing 170lb man beast that wants to give it a shot, by all means.

Also, her husband is a Ranger and would check her if she started SJWing.

i mean how often is someone dying because they can't be carried by one person? and who would really blame that individual person who tried to carry a dying soldier to safety for that same soldier's death (regardless of woman or man)? that seems kinda fucked up. maybe i'm thinking about this too hard.

    None of that quote implies she thinks all women are physically as tough as men. Unless it's from a larger quote. Are you denying that any woman is capable of combat? I really don't understand the issue. If you meet requirements you meet requirements, if you don't you don't, for either gender. Doesn't go against what she said. You're finding an issue where there doesn't seem to be one.

    Not understanding this so much, "To enter the IOC, women are not required to meet the same physical standards as men but the do have to perform to the same level during the course." Seems fine to me if they have to perform to the same level and it's only different during entry, but then it's talking about having a different number of pullups?

    I guarantee you that's what she meant. All these uppity Army females are the same. She means that girls are perfectly capable of being infantrymen. Which would be fine if they could meet the standards, but that's not the way the Army works. Commanders get pressured to meet percentages and inferior soldiers get pencil whipped into compliance. No 20-something officer wants to get their shit pushed in over "Why are you letting your females FAIL?" from their superior commanders, and getting ther evaluations dinged, and having to get diversity lectures. It's not worth a career to stand up over this issue.

    To play devils advocate, I'm 5'3" 135 lbs, a former D1 wrestler, and had a 392 on my last APFT. I could probably pull my 220lb PSG from a burning Humvee even if he were in full boy armor. We had three badass ladies pass through ranger school (seriously look them up, they are crazy motherfuckers who would fuck up most guys in the army). If they can meet the standard, why not let them join? I'm allowed to to join the infantry and nobody bats an eye at me despite being roughly the same proportions. I'm all for badass people volunteering and achieving the standard. Just don't lower the standard. Ever. That is all.

    If women can handle their shit, then that's fine. It's women that cannot physically keep up with male soldiers that I don't like. Equality means exactly that. A female soldier who can carry her weight and be productive to the same level as a male soldier is worthy of being in the army of the greatest nation on earth, the US Army. Women who are placed in leadership positions and can't physically compete/keep up with other soldiers are going to get people fucking killed out there, which is common sense and we shouldn't have to say it in the first place.
