Last time I tried to do this, it didn't go as well but here goes nothing.

In case you do not know how to play, it's like this:

Lol yeah. Its more or less being a Utd supporter anyway (last few years excluded) almost total dominance at home, relatively underperformed in Europe.

I maintain Utd should've won at least 4 CL's in my lifetime. 1997, 1999, 2004, 2008

It's interesting, because if he meant win 1 CL, it's a no brainer and not worth even asking and if he meant win TEN consecutive CL's it's also a no brainer and again, not worth asking. The Champions League is the pinnacle of club football. If United won 10 in a row it would go down in the annals of football history. It would be talked about for centuries.

And we have been transitioning away from the best manager ever and a bloated and old squad. And second place isn't a trophy. Also, it's banter more than a reasoned argument from me.

The 250 million is always brought up, but it's a weightless argument given the inflated state of the transfer market and the sheer multitude of players sold to offset that number in addition to the massive rebuilding that we had to do. Hell, City didn't buy their first title immediately, as it took a few years for their squad to mesh.

City bought shit that's why, as soon as they had Hart, Kompany, Yaya, Silva and Serg they pissed over everyone! and before those players they instantly qualified for CL with their shit signings. Regardless of the £250mil, united will always have to pay over the odds for the players. But the players we did bring in didn't perform ADM, Memphis, Fellaini etc. Its very possibly we will enter another transition next season but I can guarantee that we make at least top 2
