Not only is Hotwheels not admin anymore, the only time I recall when /pol/ was more or less a global board for a VERY short amount of time was like 2 years ago when Hotwheels wanted to help moderating it, but the board was so against it that he dropped the idea and instead created /news+/ at the time, or something along those lines.

But /pol/ is absolutely not a global board.

Codemonkey has even stated that he wants to move away from the "global board model" in general, so it's to be assumed that even the actual global boards like /b/ and /n/ aren't global anymore either, and especially not /operate/

I've been here since the first exodus and at that time it was easier to join the team on /meta/.

The original BO of /pol/ is long gone, /pol/ new moderation team don't have access on /polmeta/ or we would have been long banned. They've changed the board posting guideline thread. I will ask the things simply to HW because you don't know shit, my best bet is that the board ownership place is vacant and that the moderation team was once nominated by the global board and those positions have never been reexamined.

There is zero transparency here, the meta board is spammed with CP so yes the website has been compromised and the power that be are not interested in fixing the problems. With all the people complaining for months aver the /pol/ moderation team one would expect that someone from the global administration would have come forward and made a statement of some sort.

But no nothing, so yes people are actively looking for a new place that we will call our home, a place where original content creators such as Gex would be valued, a place where intelligent discussion could be had on a transparent platform, a place where we could organise ourselves, a place where image-board culture could be reborn anew.

The Tor service has been down for over one month.

Now, it seems to work. The clearnet cross-site requests to all media uploaded to 8ch seems not to happen any more.

Still, any upload (to boards allowing Tor posting) leads to

OTOH alternative attempts at a board like endchan will let you post way bigger media elements…

There's no reason to limit uploads to 1 MB via broken software

I wouldn't be surprised if spammers were using proxychains along with the VPNs.

Also even if that were true(which it is not), a board owner cannot be replaced unless he breaks the rules set for BOs such as the login rules etc.

Prove that the BO of /pol/ condoned the breaking of global rules or else you have no case. That OR the the breaching of the login criteria are the only two ways a BO can be removed.

These rules are set in stone for good reason. Otherwise we would have butthurt toons like you complaining about this or that BO to be removed every other day.

So if you have no valid case against a BO as mentioned above, just learn to put up and shut up or move to another board
