As far as I know, this is the only instance in world history when a nation was invented as a political tool in order to fight another one, through the process of systematic discrimination. Fascinating.

This is incitement. A perfect example.

Calling people 'fake', 'invented', 'illegitimate' etc is a common anti-Semitic trope. It's being repurposed against the Palestinians for insidious reasons.

It is?

Yup, see my response to Ghost of Anti-Human where show how you can take anti-Semitic tropes and replace 'Jew' with 'Palestinian' and it sounds exactly like how many people talk about the "Fakestinians" today.

One quote from Mein Kampf isn't an anti Semitic trope.

Are you going to give Hitler a lecture on anti-semitism?

One anti Semitic statement by Hitler doesn't make it an anti Semitic trope. Stop using the Nazi card to stifle legitimate criticism of Palestine.

You don't think it's a trope that Jews aren't a legitimate nation/identity?

Stop using the Nazi card to stifle legitimate criticism of Palestine.

TIL "Palestinians are fake" is legitimate criticism. Maybe it is to you and 'others' who use these tropes against various groups they seek to delegitimize.

The strawman is the key to Palestinian advocacy.

You don't think it's a trope that Jews aren't a legitimate nation/identity?

No I don't. Anti Semitic tropes are things like Jews are greedy, or use blood to make matzoh, or control governments.

TIL "Palestinians are fake" is legitimate criticism.

'The nation of Palestine is a product of Arab nationalism that appeared in the 20th century as a result of Zionism' is legitimate. Do you disagree?

You know, what, uncanny, you're right. All nations were invented at some point, except the Palestinian one. Palestinians were a people before human civilization evolved from apes. Before the Earth cooled and life came from the oceans. Before the Big Bang, there they were, the Palestinians. Because anyone who says they were invented is a racist. / s

So when you read GhostOfAntiHuman's initial comment you read "Palestinians are an invented nation just like everyone else?" Of you say yes you are lying.

[–]TheGhostOfAntiHumantil7as tizi.

We're all pale Africans, except Africans (and obviously "Aboriginalistinians"). No one listens to me.

edit: Never forget the first Palestinian, Yaser Abu el Filistin.

Yes, in fact Czechoslovakia was called a fraudulent state among other things by Hitler when he was attempting to annex the sudetenland.

Czechoslovakia isn't Jewish, last time I checked.

He said that about lots of his enemies including Jews.

[–]TheGhostOfAntiHumantil7as tizi.

The Jewish people were not "invented" in order to fight another nation. The "Palestinian" people were. Al Jazeera 'teaches' me about their fake history on a daily basis. Just now there was 'the lost "Palestinians" of Jafa" "Jaffa - The lost identity" Tons of Arabs in suits talking about how Haifa (yeah, weird) is a "Palestinian" city, when 90% of the time they say Arab and the translation is "Palestinian"...

Mein Kampf, adapted for the Israel-Palestine conflict:

"Hence the Palestinian people is without any true culture, and especially without any culture of its own. For what sham culture the Palestinian today possesses is the property of other peoples, and for the most part it is ruined in his hands."

...

"In judging the Palestinian people's attitude on the question of culture, the most essential characteristic we must always bear in mind is that there has never been a Palestinian art and accordingly there is none today either; that above all the two queens of all the arts, architecture and music, owe nothing original to the Palestinians. What they do accomplish in the field of art is either patchwork or intellectual theft."

...

"Since the Palestinian never possessed a state with definite territorial limits and therefore never called a culture his own, the conception arose that this was a people which should be reckoned among the ranks of the nomads. This is a fallacy as great as it is dangerous."

...

"Thus, the Palestinian has lived in the states of other peoples, and there formed his own state, which, to be sure, habitually sailed under the disguise of 'national community' as long as outward circumstances made a complete revelation of his nature seem inadvisable. But as soon as he felt strong enough to do without the protective cloak, he always dropped the veil and suddenly became what so many of the others previously did not want to believe and see: the Arab.

"The Palestinian's life as a parasite in the body of Israel explains a characteristic which causes some redditors to call him the great masters in lying. Existence impels the Palestinian to lies and to lie perpetually."

If you start to sound like this then you are using the anti-Semitic playbook that was once used against the Jews, and is being used today against the Palestinians.

lol. You try so hard...almost funny, but not at all. Again:

As far as I know, this is the only instance in world history when a nation was invented as a political tool in order to fight another one, through the process of systematic discrimination. Fascinating.

Now try to make it sound racist again, but use your talent this time.

[–]TheGhostOfAntiHumantil7as tizi.

Shoo? It's the truth. I watch Al Jazeera too, they obviously have an extensive history...lol.

ninja edit: nice try to make me sound racist...i have nothing against arabs.

The people who identify as Palestinians have an extensive history. All people do. You can do some research about the history of Arabs in the area and you can see that they have a rich history and culture. The modern day political movement is recent, like almost all regional identities that emerged after the Ottomans are, but that doesn't make their self-identified nation any less legitimate. They can identify as whatever they want. You have no right and no reason to tell them otherwise.

[–]TheGhostOfAntiHumantil7as tizi.

Case in point.

edit:

You have no right and no reason to tell them otherwise.

did I say anything?

Calling Palestinians 'Arabs' means nothing. Nobody in the history of the word has ever said that Palestinians aren't Arabs. Mexicans are mostly Hispanic. Palestinians are mostly Arabs. You still act like you are exposing some embarrassing fact about Palestinians by saying that they are Arab. You are not. The embarrassing part is the part where you think you delegitimize Palestinians by calling them Arabs.

[–]TheGhostOfAntiHumantil7as tizi.

You just love putting words in my mouth.

Read again what I said and if you disagree, please let me know why.

Just about every word you type is an attempt to de-legitimize the Palestinian identity.

[–]TheGhostOfAntiHumantil7as tizi.

Palestinian identity.

The Palestinian Identity exists. As I said many times before. It's just that this identity was invented as a political tool to fight the Jewish state. You can disagree and change the goal post and put more words in my mouth...but you can't change the truth.
