I wonder how the developers must feel knowing they're plugging away hours, days, and months of their lives into the development and creation of one of the already most despised videogames in history, particularly one in an already largely despised and pimple-on-the-ass-of-the-industry franchise.

I also have to wonder if there's any sense of pride or shame in the fact that the entire success of their franchise in the past decade has largely been thanks to the blindly ignorant support of non-gamers who, otherwise, have likely never touched a videogame console in their lives. I would think it's impressive that they have so easily breached a market that is otherwise unbreachable, but if I were a game developer myself, I would be in it for the creation of art. I would be offended that gamers, the demographic I'm trying to appeal to, have little or no interest in anything I'm trying to create.

I honestly want a making-of video of this series just so we can listen to the psychological effects developing this game is causing. Not because I wish to see anybody hurt or harmed, but just because stuff like that interests me as a psych major.
