Writing for a non academic audience is hard and having to consistently translate/transliterate ancient Greek and avoiding secondary lit in foreign languages is fucking me off. I hate staring in frustration at a blank screen.

So, as a treat, I've purchased an anthology of Japanese literature (translation I'm afraid) which I will read in my off-time. Kind of looking forward to it, the far east is largely unknown to me. The book in q' is "Traditional Japanese Literature: An Anthology, Beginnings to 1600" trans/ed Haruo Shirane.
