Taking a break (self.NotANestleShill)

Hey guys, I'm going to take an indefinite hiatus from reddit and slack in general. I was inactive for a few days before, mostly because of how much work I had, but I feel I need to extend it.

As I turn 30 in just a few days, I've started reevaluating what I do. Spending my days being harassed constantly, spending hours clearing the queues or shitposting in slack, and shouldering it by what feels like just myself has finally gotten to me. The fact that people like to shit on what I enjoy doing in my free time and harass me over insignificant things without what feels like any real help from the admins, that, I just can't do. I simply can't shoulder it alone and it feels like the admins won't help with that.

This site just doesn't feel like it used to for me. It doesn't have that magical, warm, and friendly feeling that it used to when I first joined. It feels like almost everyone On the site hates me, or are just sick of me.

I'll still be active, but I need to step away for a bit and have a long, hard think about things. Thank you to everyone who supports me and to those that help.

Keep on keeping on the good fight guys.

    You like to shit on people and the subs they are in during their free time, not to mention completely nuking a large, active sub. So, sorry - you deserve to be shit on for that.

    Go through your mod queue and you will see exactly how the users on MaM feel.

    • Resign as moderator of /r/MakingaMurderer

    • Ask yourself how you got into this situation. Consider the grievances against you and reevaluate your behavior

    • Learn from your mistakes
