This is indeed a problem, because flagging/closing questions as duplicates (when they are actually duplicates) is meant to help everyone.

Anyone who stumbles upon that question in the future will be pointed to the correct solution - and this is the reason why duplicates are only closed and not deleted.

I say there is no such thing as a bad question because even bad questions deserve a good answer.

I disagree.

I think bad questions deserves constructive comments (and maybe a downvote) and editing until it's a good question. Then it deserves a good answer and a few upvotes.

If the question can't be edited into a good question it should be closed.

Stay calm and do what the Japanese people around you does. No need to worry until they start worrying.

We had a fairly large one this Monday that shook the office a bit. Everyone's phones went off with warnings and I got a bit nervous - until I looked around and saw that no one else gave a fuck so I calmed down and continued working.

I've felt about one larger quake a month since moving here - there are a lot of quakes all the time but most of them aren't big enough to be felt.

That argument is complete bullshit though since I'm fairly sure that there were a lot more than 736 english books published in 2011.

The only thing you can do with that number is to compare ratios and to be able to do that you need to know the total amount of published books written by white authors who write in english and the amount of publishod books written by non-white authors who write in english. If that distribution is significantly different from 655/81 you can say that their reviews are skewed in one direction or the other.

On the Toroidion website, Pennanen was quoted saying that his goal was to create an electric car that could compete in the GT classes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

That's far from actually entering it into the Le Mans.

Also, those doors are not gullwing doors. I don't know if the correct term is scissor doors since they also rotate outwards and not just upwards - but they're certainly not gullwing doors.

I'm having trouble deciphering how to pronounce this, is は a particle for じょうずで　(meaning I say jouzude-wa arimasen) or is it じょうずでは (jouzudehaarimasen)
