What is there to discuss? Some mods want to run the subreddit differently. They started their own and we fully support them. If you want drama, please go elsewhere. We have other things to accomplish here.

I'm just concerned about the allegations of censorship. And we should be able to talk about that, because hiding truth and obscuring facts does no one any good.

In any large group of people running a project, there will be disagreements on how things are to be run. In this case many wanted equal say in how a sub is run. But that makes things next to impossible manage efficiently. We are growing rapidly and our team has to be on the same page. Many of the mods were unhappy and launched a effort to have the leader here kicked out of the sub because they didn't agree with some of his decisions.

We can argue for days, weeks and months and never come to an agreement on who is right and who is wrong. It would be an exercise in futility.

The other mods have decided to create their own subreddit to run in the way they see fit. I feel this is the best solution and we here at /r/hillaryclinton will fully support them in all of their efforts. After all, we are working towards the same goal.

The other mods are wonderful people and I consider them to be personal friends. I very much enjoy working with them. This is true for the remaining mods here as well. It is obvious the two groups see things very differently and no reconcilable option exists. There is nothing wrong with that. Neither side is to be lambasted for their beliefs and neither side should be branded as wrong.

The mods here will continue to work towards a shared goal and hope that any feelings between the two groups can be set aside so we can get back to doing what we came here for.

But if you choose to continue to the drama, you will have to do it elsewhere.

But can we at least have a sub-wide discussion about what those points of contention were? And maybe we can finally hear your side of those points of contention?

Unless you think everyone here will not agree with you. About what sites were not permitted, what words were not permitted, and what you were doing on primary nights.

Then why is discussion of this forbidden here?
