Choose a mouthwash that disinfects your mouth and won’t only give you fresh breath. Use a mouthwash each time after you brush your teeth.
5. Quit smoking.
Last but definitely not the least, if you are a smoker and you’re having gum problems, you can do all the items above religiously but there’s still a good chance that you can’t get rid of your gum issues. The best thing to do is to finally quit smoking because this is the best way to eliminate what is causing your gum problems. This might be the most challenging among the items on this list but it is the most effective.
