Yup, their opposing personalities actually play off each other very well in the quests where they're working together. Obviously, book Geralt would scoff at the very idea of it, but I'm not so sure she would be a bad fit for game Geralt.

Then again, this is the woman who nearly sentenced his best friend to death, which is always kind of a relationship base-breaker, no matter how much of a dick Dandelion was being.

I don't think it is hairworks. Would have to check. Personally I am using a mod for B&W that turns off hairworks for Geralt only due to personal preference. And it is HW enabled, I can tell by Geralt's.
