Manchester United vs Barcelona

Manchester United legends will travel to Barcelona to take on their rivals at the Nou Camp on 2nd July 2016, before their Spanish counterparts return to Old Trafford in June 2017.

Manchester United legends will take on FC Barcelona legends, following the success of previous campaigns against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

The Manchester United squad includes Paul Scholes, Ji-Sung Park and Karel Poborsky, plus Teddy Sheringham, Ronny Johnsen and Jesper Blomqvist. The latter players will be returning to the Nou Camp after being members of the victorious Manchester United team that completed the historic Treble in 1999.

The squad list for the FC Barcelona legends team will be announced in the coming days. José Mari Bakero, captain of the famous Barcelona Dream Team of the early 1990s, has been confirmed as the team's manager.

Following the format of the Manchester United legends’ campaign of recent years, Old Trafford will welcome the Barcelona legends next summer, on 4th July 2017, for the return leg. 

All proceeds from the game will be split between the two clubs’ charitable Foundations.

The game will be played in Barcelona at 18:00 GMT (19:00 CET) and will be shown live on MUTV in the UK and Ireland. Tickets are on sale now at www.fcbarcelona.com.
