They always claim it's white people. Any event that has a negative association with it, the media immediately claims it's a white person who did it. Remember when George Zimmerman was Hispanic? Well the media didn't. More recently? The "dumb white" parents who didn't look after their child, as he fell into a gorilla enclosure. Remember what Samuel L Jackson said about the San Bernardino shooting? He hoped that it was white people who did it. Yet the left calls people loons when people bring up racism against white people.
