It was so shite, they should have changed the way of presenting entirely. They kept the same script and thought it would be ok, but it is not. I won't be watching any more of that crap.

They didn't really explain why they had a chef and a Hollywood star. Or the fact that they had a whole new track layout and car. I enjoyed it before when they got a new car and a dozen random celebs turned up to fill the leader board. Give me Jimmy Carr and random page 3 models!

In my last year of high school

Had a SAC (an essay which gets graded and counted to your final score) today for English

English teacher told me day before that doing an imaginatary essay (Like a short story with a moral) would not get me anything higher than a B

I did anyway because the prompt we were given i thought of this great piece i could write on

Did 5 solid pages of work

Same teacher graded it

I got an A

Had a shitty few weeks but I'm going to Spain on Sunday for 6 days so yeah, drinking and sunbathing. It's also nice that the UK will be having decent weather next week too because I always feel guilty if it's shit when I'm basking in sun.

I've started reading the Game of Thrones books again, and holy shit - reading them the second time around is so much better. Knowing the direction that everything goes (as far as we know), its astounding how he managed to write such a complex web of characters and events, that all leads back to those few first chapters.

Would recommend to anybody else thinking of doing the same as this season draws to an end.

Yeah man, I've been reading a lot of /r/asoiaf too since the start of the TV season, and there's so many theories about things that totally flew over my head when I read them the first time round. Now I'm reading with a much more 'inquisitive' mindset (rather than just rushing through the narrative to find out what happens) and it's a very different experience.

Also, there's apparently a chapter thats been released from the Winds of Winter if you're interested - though I haven't looked for it myself as I want to save it for later.

Listen to the audio books when I used to work nights. Would also recommend them, Roy Dotrice voices them, gives everyone a different voice and accent. He got a part in the second series, he was the pyromancer

This weekend I may become an "official" Level 2 coach. "UEFA C coach" sounds better, why did they have to change that name?? We'll see how the assessment goes, but even if I don't pass I've really learned a lot. After that, I'll see if I can address my desire to learn more about scouting.

By the way: PM me if you're interested in reading the contents of an official "Intro to Scouting" course. I want to take the online course but it's too expensive for what it is, so if several of us chip in I will capture the contents and send it to everyone that chipped in. PM me.

Have had to watch Man United play boring football all year only to watch England play boring football. Just bored of boring football.

Good thing is though watching boring football has pushed me to go out running instead of going to bar on weekend. Ran a half marathon two weeks ago, and feeling great. Even feel like losing weight being fit has improved my relationship with my SO as well.
