God has been proven to exist based upon the most reserved view of the known laws of physics. For much more on that, see my above article, which details physicist and mathematician Prof. Frank J. Tipler's Omega Point cosmology and the Feynman-DeWitt-Weinberg quantum gravity/Standard Model Theory of Everything (TOE) correctly describing and unifying all the forces in physics. The Omega Point cosmology demonstrates that the known laws of physics (viz., the Second Law of Thermodynamics, General Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics) mathematically require that the universe end in the Omega Point: the final cosmological singularity and state of infinite informational capacity having all the properties traditionally claimed for God, and of which is a different aspect of the Big Bang initial singularity, i.e., the first cause.

Prof. Tipler's Omega Point cosmology has been peer-reviewed and published in a number of the world's leading physics and science journals, such as Reports on Progress in Physics (the leading journal of the Institute of Physics, Britain's main professional organization for physicists), Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (one of the world's leading astrophysics journals), the International Journal of Theoretical Physics (a journal that Nobel Prize winner Richard Feynman also published in), and Physics Letters, among other journals.

An interesting theory, but it does not prove that god exists. That is unproveable. Unproveable, at least, by means of and within the framework of the logic we are required to use. Required to use,because it (our logic) is the only tool we have access to with which to approach the problem -- and it is not enough.

The only way to avoid the Omega Point cosmology is to reject empirical science, since it is a mathematical theorem per the know laws of physics (viz., the Second Law of Thermodynamics, General Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics), of which have been confirmed by every experiment conducted to date. As Prof. Stephen Hawking wrote, "one cannot really argue with a mathematical theorem." (From p. 67 of Stephen Hawking, The Illustrated A Brief History of Time [New York, NY: Bantam Books, 1996; 1st ed., 1988].) Hi, Jang William. The Omega Point/Feynman-DeWitt-Weinberg quantum gravity theory is a mathematical theorem per the known laws of physics (viz., the Second Law of Thermodynamics, General Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics), of which have been confirmed by every experiment. The only way to avoid the Omega Point TOE is to reject said known physical laws, and hence to reject empirical science.

Hi, Jason Barr. The function n/x on the real line, with n being finite and nonzero, and with x going to 0, is only undefined when the direction of the approach to 0 is not specified. In the Omega Point cosmology, the direction of approach to zero radius is specified: the radius is a positive length measure as the universe collapses into the final singularity. Likewise with the Big Bang when going back in time.

There couldn't have been a singularity. A singularity entails temperature, curvature, and density that is n/0. Dividing by 0 is logically impossible, thus the singularity is logically impossible. Not many people seem to actually embrace the fact that a singularity is impossible.

Hi, NormDoctor. Your fallacy is that of vitalism. You are implicitly holding that there is some life-force which is not subject to physics. However, as I detail in App. A.4: "The Bekenstein Bound and Artificial Intelligence", pp. 126-127 of my article, all life within spacetime is completely subject to the laws of physics. That is, life is a process of physics. Life collectively can no more get around the Omega Point cosmology than can you flap your arms in order to fly to the moon.

Hi, 2010cynic. Prof. Tipler's Omega Point cosmology has been peer-reviewed and published in a number of the world's leading physics and science journals. It is now a mathematical theorem per the known laws of physics (i.e., the Second Law of Thermodynamics, General Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics), of which have been confirmed by every experiment to date. Thus, the only way it could be wrong is if one or more of the aforesaid known laws of physics are wrong. See my article for details on this.

The Penrose-Hawking Singularity Theorems proved that the Big Bang initial singularity necessarily exists per General Relativity and given attractive gravity. Likewise, the Omega Point/Feynman-DeWitt-Weinberg quantum gravity theory is a mathematical theorem if General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics are correct. As Prof. Hawking wrote, "one cannot really argue with a mathematical theorem." (From p. 67 of Stephen Hawking, The Illustrated A Brief History of Time [New York: Bantam Books, 1996].)
