Silly season has returned for the 4th summer on /r/reddevils!

Most of you know the drill.

For those who don't...From today until the window closes, a transfer round-up & discussion thread will be made every day. In these threads, ANYTHING can be talked about. Any player, in or out, any transfer fee, anything!

Now, with these threads starting, this means that rumours submitted as seperate posts will be removed unless they are from reliable sources!

The wonderful thing with Mourinho is that he's brought a sense of hope with him, I thought at this time last year "We'll be linked to X,Y and Z and get none of them" - whereas I properly believe we can attract the likes of Zlatan and James with Mou at the helm.

    Daily News Roundup

    Took it upon myself to do a roundup of the past day's transfer news. Can't commit to this being here every day but I'll do my best - as a bonus I've done yesterday's main news stories as well.

    Cadena COPE, a Spanish radio station released a lot of news regarding Real Madrid.

    In summary:

    • They have not forgotten about the De Gea saga and will be back in for him this summer.

    • Madrid do not want Monchi as a sporting director, and Mourinho does not want him at Man Utd.

    • James Rodriguez wants to leave, but Madrid are averse to the idea and will demand upwards of €80m euros.

    Sport in Spain suggest that Barcelona are interested in Daley Blind for €18m euros

    Sevilla release a statement that Monchi is set to stay on as their sporting director; however, another source states that this only inserts a €5m buy out clause. Same source also claims that United are interested and already has an agreement in place.

    A Bola say that Jose Mourinho said that he will not be signing any players from the Portuguese league.

    Sky Sports report that Blind and Mata are not in Mourinho’s plans and could both leave in the window if there is sufficient interest.

    EL LARGUERO - Real Madrid has informed Keylor Navas that they will not be making any transfers in his GK position this summer.
