Only FOUR Manchester United players safe from Mourinho axe

Former Man Utd striker Dwight Yorke thinks there could be a lot of places up for grabs under the new manager next season.

The Manchester United squad is set to undergo a huge overhaul this summer, according to Dwight Yorke.

And the former United striker believes Jose Mourinho could make so many changes that only FOUR players are safe from the axe.

The Portuguese coach has already been linked with a host of new signings.

And Yorke says the only squad members who aren't in danger of being moved on to make room for new arrivals are David De Gea, Anthony Martial, Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford.

He told 888Sport: "We obviously know about Juan Mata and Jose Mourinho. That hasn’t changed.

"There will be a few players under the microscope who aren’t Manchester United players who somehow got in there.

"They’ve under performed and no-one is safe apart from David De Gea, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Wayne Rooney.

"Everyone in between will be looking over their shoulders."
