I call it "The Kevin Spacey Effect" look how everyone is accusing him of being gay because he's never married nor claims he's in a relationship.

Yes I've had this happen, and they'll get their friends around them to back up the notion that they are attractive and irresistible and you must be gay to not be interested. Even in our modern and 'enlightened' times there was still an amount of shaming aimed at me, for in their minds me being gay. Although this is most likely a release for emotional pain caused by being attracted to man they couldn't have. I'm not proud of it but this part actually made me kind of happy.

It happened to me. This very hot black chick was extremely confused. She then asked if I had a girlfriend. "I do!" "Are you happy?" " Yes. Very." She was the second outright overture I declined while dating that ex-gf. She (exGf) broke up with me on Valentine's Day and I drove home 3 hours through a massive blizzard with all my shit. Reason? Military wouldnt let me be near her. AWALT. I think the chick (who was African American) instantly went to salivating mode when I declined. 6'3" white guy turns down a female. Doesnt even blink. Monogamous Iron Will +3. She would have drained me like a prize chump.

They kind of go through the 5 stages of grief, in a very brief amount of time, sans the acceptance. For example:

Denial: Usually a look of disbelief along with some gawking, perhaps asking you again because maybe you are an idiot and didn't understand her the first time.

Anger: They will ask you "are you gay or something?" and question your manhood, with the nastiest tone.

Bargaining: They'll backpedal a bit, saying things like "omg I wasn't asking you for sex anyway" or "I'm just a normal girl"... basically anything to hamster themselves out of the fact that they just got rejected.

Depression: use your imagination here. This is where the emotions come out. Some pouting, some crying, maybe some screaming, perhaps getting slapped and/or something thrown at you... the sky is the limit depending on how much of a crazy cunt she is.

As for acceptance - well, there is none of that in a woman's mind. The hamster will be spinning the wheel faster than light speed, she will say and do ANYTHING to convince herself that you didn't just reject her. You pretty much want to be at least a mile away by the time she is at this "stage".

Actually, if you find yourself in this situation, bail the fuck out of there as soon as you reject her, nothing good will come from hanging around a woman scorned.

I pretended not to understand the cues she was giving and then I played the romantic card :”I'd like to meet you again. Go on a date....” etc. That seemed to calm her down. She didn't question my manhood or anything else. The next morning she was banging at my door actually. I pretended I wasn't home. She left a note at the door. I pretended I didn't see it. End of story.

Actually I saw her again once at a grocery store. She didn't say anything, but she looked angry. But after that I never saw her again.

So, I kinda weaseled my way out of it without much problems.
