Pretty much. Schneiderlin you could barely try to make a case for and, even then, a weak one.

You could not make a case for Schneiderlin at all. Kante, Diarra, Pogba and Matuidi are all miles above him on this seasons evidence.

Cabaye I am not sure about but he has been at a team that suits his level so he sticks out more.

Well yeah but if you agree that Cabaye can be argued out, which he absolutely could and should if not for Deschamp's bizarre infatuation with him, then you agree with my point. I agree with everything you said in regards to who's better that made the 23 and never said I didn't.

yeah, you're right. I don't think herrera should be in it but I think that schneiderlin and mata had a slight chance to be on the team - sissoko for schneiderlin and I really don't know for mata but mata could be a good squad player for spain if they still play their tiki taka plays (i have nt seen them play since the world cup failure so I wouldnt know)

To me Mata usually performs for Spain, not one of their bests but he occasionally scores and his style suits Spain more.

Schneiderlin also plays well for France, not as flashy/impactive as Matuidi, Kante, Pogba--hell to me all French DMs are as offensive as they are defensive.

Schneiderlin this season has been very (too) disciplined defensively.

Yep. Doesn't help his reputation but doesn't help theirs either. Not their fault they were forced to play in a system most of them aren't suited to.

i think sissocko over Schneiderlin is just baffling.he didn't have a great season,but neither did Sissocko.

Sissoko is in the squad being listed in the midfield section but he is not the same type of player as Schneiderlin, so you can't say he was picked over Schneiderlin. I would have thought Kante was picked over him and rightly so

He can play anywhere off the front and sometimes is used as a box to box midfielder

Wilshere, to me, didn't deserve to be called over DW, but Wilshere has played at the highest level more often.

Sissocko has been playing for France a while before he went to Newcastle, and long before Schneiderlin.
