Why not do both? Lifting doesn't take much time, especially compared to gaming.

Lifting doesn't take much time, especially compared to gaming

That's depends on the situation and habits of the individual. You have to take into account the commute time when going to the gym and not all gamers spend hours doing it. I'm a gamer and I spend more time playing guitar than gaming.

Gaming is a harmless and enjoyable way to unwind in the same way that reading fiction and watching movies is.

Lifting is good for your body and state of mind.

Anything to excess is bad by definition.

If you don't get anything out of a pastime or if it's detrimental to your quality of life do something else.

Yes, lift..

You have roughly 80 years on this planet. One of my best friends spent his 20s playing video have while I exercised and ran races..

By the age of 30, he was obese, high blood pressure, I think diabetes, and has a hard time doing simple tasks. This many problems with 50 more years to go.

I'm still as fit as many 20 year olds. Don't be the guy that spends decades of his life in physical pain

I play Xbox as well. Love it. I also lift and play guitar, bass, drums, piano. I shoot often as well and read quite a lot.

Just getting serious about cooking and have been reading up on medical textbooks to help with my job.

I try to learn a new topic/skill each month.
