The Ember is dishwasher safe, completely sealed and charges using a wireless base. It’s the most advanced lunchbox ever made.
The ember uses a gentle resistive heating element that brings up your food to the perfect temperature on the schedule you set. Use the Android/iOS app to control ember's timing and heat profile. Your food will come out perfectly heated to your specifications every time.
There are no wires or clutter in Ember's design. It's a completely minimalist take on a bento box design. It is constructed with BPA-free hard silicone with woven fiber insulation to keep important elements cool. These materials make it dishwasher safe and amazingly easy to maintain. Your food will stay at a cooled temperature until ready to heat and eat. The smaller compartments not heated will remain at their cool temperatures even during heating.

We have the backing of a multi-national fulfillment and advisory firm behind us. This is Rudy's fifth major Kickstarter and Gareth's second. Each of our previous Kickstarters have been 100% fulfilled, though we have always run into delays (which have been unbelievably educational). Even with all of this experience behind us, this is a more complex device pushing the envelope of IoT tech, so there is always the potential for delays, especially during the finishing phase of design (including certifications, etc).
