SuperDeporte had an article over the weekend on Jorge Mendes and the future of Andre Gomes. Valencia's Portuguese midfielder has said he's unsure of what the future holds for him, preferring instead to concentrate on preparations for Euro 2016.

Whilst Gomes doesn't seem to be too aware of what's going on, SuperDeporte say those reporting on Gomes to Juventus in Italy, are 'convinced' the agent is trying to take his client to Manchester United. Italian champions Juventus have been linked strongly with Gomes for some time, but it was always assumed Jose Mourinho going to Manchester United could change things.

As one of Mendes' brightest players at the moment, and a talented young midfielder, there seems to be a widespread assumption that Mourinho will ask his agent to secure a Manchester United move for Gomes. If it's all based upon assumption then there's not really much insight, Mendes represents a whole group of players and they all can't move to Manchester United.

The reason Gomes is getting more air time is that Valencia would be ready to sell, and the player's profile may well match what Manchester United are interested in this summer.
