Depends on if it's his food or not. The whole food aggression thing bothers me. I mean seriously, if I was sat down in the food court and some teenager walked up to me and took a bite out of my pizza, I would do alot more than growl. The dog can't arrest the little pug for stealing so he does the only non violent thing he can.

Don't feed your dogs from the same bowl, and don't allow your dog to steal food from another dogs bowl and this won't happen. I have 4 huskies and 3 German shepherds. They have their own bowls and have never had an issue. I almost wish they would defend their food from other dogs that come in the house and steal it, instead I have to be the food police and steal it back from the thief.
