How to setup the USB trackball

StereoTools and other Menci software supports Kensington Expert Mouse Trackball. No other trackball are currently supported.
- connect the trackball device. The trackball will be recognized as standard mouse and the pointer will be moved by the sphere.
- start a DOS command line window with administrator rights
- Click Start.
- In the Start Search box, type cmd, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.
If some message appears, confirm it and continue
- inside the “<software installation folder> / Trackball” you will find two subfolders:
- KensingtonExpertMouse_32: related to 32 bit Microsoft Windows o.s. versions.
- KensingtonExpertMouse_64: related to 64 bit Microsoft Windows o.s. versions. - Change the directory in the command window to folder related to your o.s.
e.g. type cd "c:\program files (x86)\menci software stereotools\trackball\KensingtonExpertMouse_64"
don't forget double quotes in the path. - start the installation by typing "install"
If the installation is well done the mouse cursor pointer isn't moved by the trackball sphere.
Inside StereoTools, when the tasckball is enabled on an opened stereo model, the trackball must change the elevation on the coordinatograph.
