The short answer is no.

The long answer is that Lovecraftian horrors are beyond the comprehension of a human being. The horror of the entire mythos revolves around our complete and utter insignificance.

To give you an idea, according to Lovecraft, the entire universe is simply a dream of one of the Eldritch Gods, and as soon as it wakes up, the Universe will be extinguished.

For a comparison, a pyromancer trying to affect one of the Eldritch gods would be like an ant attempting to affect the outcome of a bulldozer destroying its nest. Yes, it might be a very strong ant in its colony, yes it could possibly hurt a human if it was lucky enough to bite it, but the workings/technology of a bulldozer are so beyond the comprehension of an ant, that all it has is complete and utter blind luck. (Something which is sadly in short demand in any Lovecraftian horror)

Well, there are multiple instances of beings in dreams that either take over or kill their dreamers in Science Fiction. Also if said ant can spit high amounts of acid at said bulldozer and erode it's blade and then eventually it to a piece of scrap, it would effectively stop said bulldozer.

And yet "high amounts" of acid for an ant are still completely insignificant to the bulldozer. Sure, if it had many, many times the lifespan of an ant and was constantly, without pause or fail, spitting some sort of corrosive it might cause damage to the dozer

But that's assuming the dozer and it's driver just sit there and let it to so. Even the most dangerous ant is nothing compared to even the weakest boot.

So in short the ant needs ages to hurt the dozer. At any time the dozer could just squash the ant without effort.

Let's assume for a second that the acid is like white phosphorus to the human body. Insignificant, yes, but capable of burning the flesh and destroying bone. Now let's assume these high amounts of this corrosive material is a high amount by the bulldozer's perspective, I.E enough to harm it. What would your answer be then?

An ants worth of phosphorus is less than a match and youd just step on the little bastard when you saw it glowing.

The point of the analogy is not about size and threat, it's about insignificance and ignorance. A human who can comprehend and hurt the eldritch would not be human anymore

No. You shouldn't compare an ant to a bulldozer. Both exists in the same dimension. A better comparison would be an ant in 2d and a bulldozer in 3d, occasionally intersecting the 2d world and crushing anything in its cross-section when it does. There's nothing the ant can do at all. If it somehow found a way to go from 2d to 3d, and assuming its mind can comprehend the new dimension and not fray and break, then maybe there's a chance, but if that's the case, there really is no point of discussing this, because you can always say the ant finds a way somehow to "kill" the bulldozer, despite the fact that the bulldozer isn't alive in the first place?

The truth is, there's no "fighting" or "killing" the elder gods. The name "elder gods" is our own projection, believing them to be sentient and alive, according to our understanding. But they're not. And we will never understand them, perceive them in their true form, or be able to interact with them in any productive way.

They are beyond us.

This is a much better metaphor.

Well at this point you're just arbitrarily increasing the capabilities of the aggressor until you get the desired result, which negates the point of your question. If the Ant/Pyromancer has essentially a power so ludicrously beyond what it should be capable of that it can rival the elder gods, sure, it could pose a threat to them.

But in the cosmology of the Lovecraftian universe, no mortal sorcerer is even powerful enough to be considered an ant up against the Elder Gods.
