the thing is i want her to change her ways, i want her to be successful. i want to help her change that mindset. i dont want to leave her and the reason why is because she's rebelling against her parents but this is taking it too far in my opinion i want her to brighten up.

You can't simply make someone change her mindset with your will. I think you are being a bit condescending to her, and I think if you try to "change her" she'll see you're being condescending and will feel belittled. After all she's an adult human being with her problems, issues and right to decide what to do.

If I were you I wouldn't try to change her as much to understand why she does this and eventually make HER want to change, but not in a patronizing way.

Calling her issues "bullshit" is not a good start

You can't do anything like that if she doesn't want to change herself.

All you can do is tell her how you feel and try to work it out, or leave her. Sorry to sound cruel but they're your only options really.

Don't try to change people. She will only change if she wants to, don't try to push things onto her. If she isn't someone you want to date in her current state then break up with her
