/r/ThisIsNotaSafeSpace is a moderated subreddit intended to create a united front for those opposed to the recent wave of unabated PC activism in the US (and other nations), lead by student activist cry bullies, in the name of ending perceived social injustice. We specifically oppose those movements which utilize fascist and totalitarian tactics to gain control and hinder free speech, while promoting ideologies aimed at further increasing divisiveness and segregation. This is a place to engage in civil discussion about the issue of race, gender, and other social topics openly, without limiting free speech due to content.
We believe that allowing Free Speech is a paramount human right, not only on college campuses, but in every place in the world - even if that speech is considered offensive by some.
We believe that leaders & administrations should not automatically bend to cry bullies' demands without proper cause or discourse, out of fear of being labelled a bigot.
We believe that dividing students into classes based on race & perceived privilege is a form of segregation, and is a step in the wrong direction to end racism in the US (and abroad).
We believe that racism can be ended only with unity, and breaking down perceived divisions between people of different races/ethnicities; not forcing ideas and further dividing people by assigning everybody labels.
Rules
Keep content focused around discussion/news/media related to the current oversensitive PC culture, and the push for "safe spaces" and whitewashed environments in all aspects of society. Content can also be related to activist movements using fascist tactics, refusing civil discussion, and outwardly opposing free speech under the guise of social justice.
Discussion/Articles we may not agree with will not be deleted - as long as they are on-topic.
No threats of violence or illegal retaliation will be tolerated.
This is not a hate sub, but we will not censor any opinions we do not agree with (although we may downvote them). However, we do ask that you keep things relatively civil. Comments or posts which promote malignant bigotry (including the use of slurs for the purpose of disparaging others) are subject to removal. Users that post such comments repeatedly will be banned.
This is not another Reddit sub for blind hatred towards liberals and feminists, getting worked up over some random person's Tumblr posts, etc. This is an opposition to a very real movement, causing very real effects for students across the country. If that content is more your thing, there are plenty of other subs for that.
