Hi, I've heard a lot of things said about Carlos Queiroz and his time as United's assistant manager.
Everything I have heard has been mostly positive and a lot of people say that he was the best out of all of Sir Alex Ferguson's number two's.
Anyway, I know that he did a lot to help the team, tactically and defensively during his time which is probably why we had a successful few seasons in Europe during his second spell at the club and even after he left.
So I'm just wondering what it was exactly that he brought to the team in terms of tactics? I've heard people say he was very smart and went into a lot more detail than most coaches but I'm still not sure what exactly he brought to the team tactically. Was it new formations, a new style of play? Any ideas?
Cheers
