New chant posts on this sub make me chuckle. I mean I appreciate what people are trying to do, but to think that anyone on here (even the season ticket holders) will be able to get one going and become well known enough to be sang around the ground is hilarious.

Your lyrics are way too complex for a football chant. The only way I can see your chant working is if it's directed at a club like Chelsea and it's something like "You've might have lots of money but got no history" into "Score and score, we will just score more and more".

The "na na na na" bit would be genuinely fun to chant, I'll give you that.

You can't expect to have lots of verses each about a different player.

I'm not sure you understand how chants get going, but they're never this complex or long.

They have to be easy, memorable and funny.

Our newest chants are probably 50 Million and Spirit in the sky. Both 4ish lines long. I think our longest is probably UNI-TED, and still after decades of it people still get the end wrong.
