I'm talking about those who would oversimplify things and say shit like "Winning games gives confidence to youth which means they become superstars." or "If we win a season every player in the world would want to come to Man Utd and we will become a superforce in football." This isn't how any of this works, obviously. So please stop. Stop throwing around random theories with weak, extremely linear connections drawn between points. Either stick to the obvious analysis, make some good and thoughtful analysis or don't analyze at all.
TL;DR: Stop the slippery slope theories.
