Why do some idiots seem to care more about having a manager for 10 years than actually winning trophies?

Winning 4 titles in 10 years where we have 5 managers is infinitely preferable to winning 2 titles in 10 years under one manager. Some of the people on here genuinely seem to prefer the latter option so you can win the Arsene Wenger Memorial Moral High Ground High Horse Holier Than Thou Shield every season instead of the Premier League title.

The end game of football is winning trophies, that is the aim here, it is not plodding along in barely serviceable mediocrity so long as we keep the same manager.

I disagree with where you've taken that. I don't believe the annual Wenger Memorial We Almost Won Again Pity Cup is more coveted; however, I do believe someone should be given a longer run despite some failure in an attempt to produce stability. Yes the primary purpose of football is winning trophies, but there is also something to be said for producing legends. If you have a new manager every 2-4 years players are bound to become unsettled and leave even if they are winning. Not everyone will leave, but the point remains.

Do Barcelona and Bayern players become unsettled by the sacking the manager every few years?

They go from world class european competition proven manager to world class european competition proven manager. We went from local mid table semi-hero to proven manager, but quite awhile ago, to finally having a superstar manager. I agree you may have disproven my point, but not if we only hire a truly world-class manager every third try.

I dont agree about the part where you said he won't play Memphis. Memphis fits in his style and will prove to be a dynamic winger like Hazard did for him in 2014 when they won the league. Yes, Memphis wont hit Hazard's form right away but he'll have a much better season than this past one. Then I'll tell you that "I told you so".

I think he'll play Memphis. I just meant to say that I could see Memphis becoming unsettled in the future.

Mourinho will surprise everyone in the footballing world by playing 4-4-2 United style. 2 strike partners up front, traditional wingers (not inverted ones), overlapping fullbacks, midfielders allowed to push forward inside the box. I know this because he told me.
