Incredible driving by Verstappen. Kimi had DRS for ~20 laps at the end of the race and every single time Max hooked up the final sector perfectly with a clean drive out of the last corner every time. I was among those that doubted the Red Bull decision to replace Kvyat but he drove like somebody who has had 100 races not 20. Bloody well done Max, I am seriously impressed.

iirc there are so many flair options that they take up almost all of the available CSS sheet. Might be talking out my arse but I'm 90% sure I'm right, beside I like the simplistic look. Some of the other American sports subs are just a bit too much for me.

Thanks :) I've had a lot of great discussions over that time and really and genuinely enjoyed being a part of the mindcrack community. Unfortunately as I've had more work at University and other commitments I've had less time to commit to free talk Friday so it is for the best that it moves on to being posted without me. I'll still be around sharing whatever it is that I got up to though so don't miss me too much :)

PS I promise to log into the Skype more often, I uninstalled it because it was making my computer crash but expect to see me about more from now on :)

Sports are nowhere near as big as American viewing sizes but depending on the University there is that 1 sport that everyone watches, in our case Rugby and Football (soccer). Lacrosse is gaining popularity fast, it is already very popular in the north but almost everyone starts playing at university and has never played before. Last 3 years I've been here we've only had 3/4 people join the club who have played before university. Everyone is willing to give it a go to especially Rugby and Football players as there are so many transferable skills.

Varsity game against Cardiff next week has meant I've averaged 2 hours of match training and an hour of fitness for the last 2 weeks and will do so for a few more days. Also have a game against the Wales U21 squad tomorrow as a warmup for the big day. Exciting but exhausting stuff!

I can't remember where I read it but I recall that this is fairly common for elite athletes. When you're in a country for a short period of time, eating unfamiliar food can be a detriment to your ability so they eat fast food such as McDonalds as it is largely the same around the world.

I'd highly recommend the H2. I'm notorious for destroying shafts but my H2 has lasted me a year and a half and still going strong. I've given it a proper rogering and it doesn't have the slightest hint of a bend in it. Plus I really like the shape of the shaft, makes finding my grip much easier.

You're right, I've been very busy recently. I was away in Spain for a week and passed out knackered the friday I got back so missed two and I had a ridiculous assignment schedule just before that. Normal service will resume from now on!

Thanks! We actually have paramedics at a lit of our games depending which pitch we're playing on as we tend to get injured a fair bit. The guys with the broken spine took about an hour and a half to stabalize and then take of the pitch and the game ended up cancelled due to lack of light!

Huge Lacrosse game for me tomorrow. If we win, we win the league and go up to the premiership. If they win, they do. This is against our 2nd biggest rivals besides Cardiff. In this fixture last year our best player tore his ACL and the year before one of their players broke their spine. We're not the biggest fans of each other so to do it over them would be incredible.
