Project Description
The world's First Ever Truly Portable Extreme Water Cooler that filters tap, river, stream and creek water and dispenses it into crystal clear ice-cold drinking water. The cooler runs on both 110V AC and 12V DC battery power.
As an avid outdoor enthusiast, my passion for nature and the sustainability of the environment led me to develop a unique portable cooler with a leading manufacturer of indoor mini coolers. We wanted to produce a product with the convenience of a home water cooler and the portability of a water bottle and flask but without the hassle of lugging heavy bulky items around.
We wanted to be able to refill the cooler with fresh water from a natural source that could be filtered into crystal clear clean drinking water. After all, what’s better than a glass of ice cold filtered water taken from nature that you can enjoy in nature?
What Makes Our Water Cooler So Unique?
Our First Ever Truly Portable Extreme Water Cooler went through the toughest challenges and tests to make sure the water you filter from a river, creek or stream is clean, safe and healthy to drink. This is the first water cooler of its type in the world and we want everyone to enjoy the luxury of an indoor water cooler in the great outdoors.
The main compact case is built to last and is robust. The Outdoor Extreme Water Cooler is small and compact, which means that the cooler is incredibly convenient to take with you on your next exploration or vacation with the family.
We also wanted to include a few great features that allow you to bring some of the indoor luxuries to the outdoors, when you go camping with your family and friends. That’s why we included a USB port, along with the proprietary green or blue LED moon-light to help you find your cooler in the dark.
The First Ever Truly Portable Extreme Water Cooler is also perfect for indoor use. It fits perfectly on your desk, kitchen counter, office, bedroom, small apartments and any other place that is convenient for you.

Optimized Cooling Capacity
The cooling capacity of our water cooler has been greatly optimized to a point where it's close to a large cooler in its cooling ability while its energy consumption during cooling has been minimized, when compared to other smaller units. -
Chills water to 43°F!
The Outdoor Extreme Water Cooler can chill water to 43°F at an ambient temperature of 70°F. When the unit reaches this point, the efficiency of the cooling tank maintains this temperature for up to four times longer than any similar cooler in its class. Then with small bursts of energy, the Portable Extreme Water Cooler boosts the cooling system to maintain the cold water at the set temperature in the tank.

High speed chilling with less energy
Excessive cooling creates additional heat that requires additional energy to remove it. This results in a wastage of precious energy. To stop this wastage, our cooler has a customized control chip that is designed to power the unit in such a fashion that it gives enough power only when it's needed.

The removable, refillable water bottle is made of food grade FDA approved Triton Easterman USA BPA free plastic and can hold up to 1.8 gallons of water. This cool blue water bottle is specifically designed to be a perfect fit for your extreme outdoor water cooler.
One-Way Valve
Thanks to the splash free one-way valve cap made of strong polypropylene, the water won’t splash out when inverting the bottle onto the cooler. The spill free cap doubles up as a support structure for the sediment trap.

Vitality Filter Cartridges
The Outdoor Extreme Water Cooler stands apart from other coolers because it offers the option of using two different water filters.
You have the option of using the regular Little Luxury Vitality Water filtration cartridges when you wish to use the cooler indoors with tap or facet water. This will save you money on bottled water.
You also have the additional option of using the Extreme Outdoor water filtration cartridge outdoors while camping, designed specifically for natural sources of water. This Extreme cartridge is significantly more robust than the Vitality Water filter and contains specialized membranes to help purify water taken from natural sources. Filters will be available for purchase online.
Sediment trap
The Outdoor Extreme Water Cooler comes with a pre-sediment trap that is fitted with replaceable filter paper and sponges that filter out sediment which could clog the main filters. This sediment trap is easy to clean and these additional replaceable accessories will be available online.
Double Protection
We have engineered the unit to prevent cross contamination between filtered and unfiltered water. We have a design registration on our feathered edge and O-ring double sealing. This mechanical barrier ensures that no contaminated water can slip down the side or past the filter without going through the main filter processing.
Our filters are designed with hidden technology to ensure that the water flows down in a rain-like effect through the filter. Generally, in other filters, the water forms a vortex and only passes through a third of the filter medium, making a good number of filters hopelessly inefficient. Not ours!

It is very easy to carry the First Truly Portable Extreme Water Cooler when taking the unit outdoors. We included a thick rubberized strap that doubles up as a nifty handle to make the journey convenient. The strap can also secure the bottle for those bumpy rides and can be used to hang the unit up from a tree or post.

We included the specially designed luxury USB port for the unit as it will most probably become your closest buddy outdoors.
3a. Green LED Moonlight
The proprietary green LED lighting is really great at night as it creates just enough light to allow you to easily find your cooler in the dark without tripping over any guide ropes or tents. Our design made sure that the light is not too bright and still keeps the natural ambiance of the night light.
3b. Cyan blue LED Moonlight
The Carbon Kevlar unit has a sophisticated look. With its cyan blue LED light, it is best suited for indoors, but it still provides the owner the option to take the unit outdoors. The blue LED is still bright in the day and acts as a clear light to find your cooler in the dark.
4. Main Power Supply & 12V Battery Power
The cooler can be powered via a mains 110 volt AC and 12 Volt DC battery power supply made possible due to the units energy efficiencies. The quality car cigarette socket has a built in fuse that is easily replaced and the 12 Volt thick quality cable measures a long 95 inches.

5. Rubberized Drip Tray
The rubberized drip tray adds a touch of class and is especially useful when using the product at home, to ensure there are no small spills on the counter top.

The top plastic cover clicks open so one can easily cleanse and sterilize the cooler.
Our Story
I have always been a health enthusiast and strongly believe in the benefits of drinking lots of water on a daily basis. Having a Little Luxury Portable Extreme Water Cooler at home made drinking plenty of water every day very convenient. I also have one on my desk at work and it's my very own personal “hygienic” water cooler.
One weekend when we went camping, we had to lug heavy bottles of water around. We camped near a crystal clear stream and it suddenly dawned on me how cool it would be to use my Little Luxury cooler outdoors!

Our dynamic team consists of a group of industrial designers, engineers and water scientists. We are all nature loving enthusiasts.
1. Laurelle Charne
Laurelle is the mastermind behind the First Ever Portable Extreme Water Cooler. She is a creative marketing fundi and an extreme outdoor enthusiast. This project is a combination of hard work, determination and her will to motivate the team on a dally basis with her dynamite personality and tenacity.
2. Gary Flax
Gary Flax is Laurelle’s uncle and the founder of the number one selling mini water cooler company in the world, Little Luxury. Gary has been working with Laurelle for over four years to make the Outdoor Water cooler a reality and offered her full support and access to all of his facilities and resources.
Our Factory
We have gained access to Little Luxury’s factory situated in China. Unlike the average factory, this plant is modern, spotlessly clean and hygienic. The factory is USA Big Box Vendor approved and complies with all quality control, health and safety inspections by Intertek and assessed additionally by Pro Qest1.
All machines are owned by the company for assembly and they only use Swiss Grade High Steel molds. The factory has unique computer testing machines that test each unit. Most of their components are proprietary and the chipsets are specially developed. This factory already does mass production, and they are fully equipped and ready to make my units.
Why Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is the perfect platform for me to raise the additional capital required to make this a reality. I will reward my backers with incredible coolers at a remarkable cost. Kickstarter gives us the opportunity to share our vision with the rest of the world and show others that anything is possible with a dream. We believe that this is the best way for us to inform people about our product and how it will improve their lives.
Our Extreme Portable Water Cooler helps the environment by reducing plastic bottles and carbon emissions from large trucks delivering bottled water (which is crazy and unnecessary with this water cooler). Kickstarter is a world wide success and we want to mutually enhance that success through our campaign.
We are determined not only to find the backers but to also make great friends and happy campers though our incredible Extreme Portable Water Cooler. I am sure you’ll also soon be saying – “I love my Little Luxury."
We Have Reached Our Funding Goal, What Happens Now?
Besides the fact that you have helped yet another project and dream come to life, we can guarantee that you will receive the greatest portable water cooler on earth. We are fully equipped to handle mass production in our extremely capable factory and we have all the necessary certifications in place.
We will use the funds raised to complete the last set of molds for the sediment trap and the production process can carry on while this is taking place. Risks and challenges
- WATER: Even though we tested our unit extensively in places where there was Cholera and E Coli in the water, our filters removed these contaminates to point that the water was crystal clear and drinkable, but we still recommend that you take caution.
- We want to ensure that the user understands that not all types of naturally occurring water sources are suitable for filtration. We advise boiling the water for three minutes and adding chlorine pills if you are unsure of the water quality.
- The sterilizing and cleansing of the unit after use is important to sanitation. We provide clear instructions and videos of how this should be done. Cleansing solution will also be available for purchase online.
- There is a risk of excess rough use of the unit, even though it’s a outdoor unit, it's not weatherproof and is not made to be waterproof or water resistant. It is robust but it is still an appliance that needs care.
- The RED and BLACK (+ --) power cords should match the correct polarity of the battery.
- When powering the unit with the car battery, one has to insure the car battery does not die.
- A user who does not follow the provided instructions, may present a safety risk.
We are confident that if the users follow the clear instructions, they will have MANY years of excellent service and crystal clear, ice cold filtered water.
