It's been one week since we got to see

Grumpy posts about terrible history

Five days since I looked at the sub

Said "Hey, I learned!" and "You're wrong, bub."

...and I don't really know where else to go with that thought, but I miss reading posts all the time. I guess everyone is busy? :(

Started working on a permaculture farm the other day. Anyway the owner said he'd take us all out for a hike sometime in the future to show us something of a local legend. Apparently along a trail somewhere nearby there is a large rock, somewhere like 1000 lbs caught between the fork of a tree some 40 something feet up. I don't know much about how trees grow but I was thinking that a sapling couldn't be strong enough to carry something like that to such a hieght. One guy joked, (or maybe he was serious), aliens. Another legend about this same rock was that it was a test drop from a military plane to simulate a cargo drop. But my first thought was that this had to be just an elaborate prank. Considering we live in a very large college town, and from the fact that I personally know people who would go to such lengths for the sake of a prank, I believe that in all likelihood it's just prank bro.

But hey, if I make it out to see this local legend I'll try to get pictures for you all.

If the tree is really old, then I would not be that surprised that this is natural.

So Nikolas Lloyd of Lindybeige is writing a legit graphic novel about the Second Punic War. This should be interesting, if nothing else.
