With the current squad, Mata would be going nowhere, but odds are Mourinho has plans for a complete overhaul, only keeping key players and Mata will likely become surplus again. The lad seems like a great guy but his playstyle is too slow. He seems to need 3/4 touches every time he gets the ball and he definitely isn't physical or fast enough to get past players. All he has is a great pass and a decent finish really.
