I am not exactly sure if that is accurate or not, but I post the link where I heard this http://www.neoseeker.com/news/28059-nintendo-wants-to-amend-articles-of-incorporation-to-include-computer-software-next-month/
So for those that don't want to click link here is the quote
Nintendo wants to amend Articles of Incorporation to include computer software next month
It's no secret Nintendo's looking to expand its business model. The card company turned vidieo game giant is about to launch the first pair of mobile games later this year, but that's not enough for Mario. Nintendo wants to expand beyond just their own platforms and mobile devices, so they've sent out a notice to shareholders today announcing a proposal to expand the company's Articles of Incorporation at the next investor's meeting on June 29. Among the proposal is "development, manufacturing and sale of computer software." Yes, computer software. Let that sink in for a moment.
Now that you've had a few seconds to digest that, keep in mind that computer software in itself is a very broad term. While it's not a stretch to imagine Nintendo wants to bring its IP to PC gamers, the company hasn't outright said that's what they have in mind. Since adding this to the company charter requires approval from shareholders, it's possible nothing could come of the proposal. Should investors give Nintendo the green light to add computer software to its charter, the following items would also be included:
Development, manufacturing and sale of medical devices and health devices
Management of and investment in eating establishments (in addition to stores and other entertainment sites)
Licensing of intellectual property rights
While a Mushroom Kingdom restaurant would likely do well, these are just ideas that Nintendo has in mind. If investors decide not to allow the company to update its charter, these will remain ideas and dreams. If shareholders approve the change, we could very likely see The Legend of Zelda and other iconic Nintendo IPs find their way to PC gaming libraries over the next few years. For now, we'll just have to wait until the June 29th shareholder meeting to find out what investors think of the company's ideas.
I hope I read that right and Nintendo games does come to PC
