About this project
RockCreek Design LLC's first project, The StarJak Wheel, started as a Conceptual vision that I had while serving in the military back in 2000 in Ft.Hood Tx as a new way to develop aftermarket wheels so that enthusiast alike would get more out of the experience and enjoyment of aftermarket wheels after they have been purchased,lets be honest most of us "Wheel Lover's" know once you have chosen a set of nicely designed wheels, told the technician what you wanted they ask for your keys request that you wait in the waiting area while they remove your factory wheels and put on your new ones, it's almost like waiting for a loved one to come out of facial plastic surgery in one piece,not knowing what their going to look like once they are released. StarJak gives the customer a hands-on experience, but on another level by being the first to let a driver control his/hers wheel experience with the push of a button on a remote controlled key fob, onlookers at car shows, drive in's,parties you name the event, will be amazed to see wheels being controlled by the vehicle operator,or if you are a "Tech Head",you have the option to upgrade your wheels controls by adding the coming soon StarJak App, which will allow user's to download the simple App to their smartphone and touch the remote cursor arrows displayed on the screen to remote access their wheels remotely thru blue tooth capability that's right I said,"thru blue tooth capability",not to mention a social blog to allow user's to communicate with other StarJak user's in this interface heck,get enough user's and form a StarJak Car Club the possibilities are all endless coming from this new form of wheel technology.The StarJak Wheel is just one of much more to come out of this "starting lineup" of greats with other wheel names that I won't mention here without giving a clue away to someone watching with a brain. The funding,however, that we're requesting is to sustain production startup capital for raw materials needed,App development, and the machines needed to produce this one of a kind wheels.

Risks and challenges
The StarJak Wheel has been approved mechanically,with analysis testing,with cornering test impact testing etc,by engineering firms like Graken Corp in Torrance California,two professors at a local Lamar University school of engineering in Beaumont Tx.StarJak is 9 years in the making,the only challenge to date is possible parts ordering from different manufacturers and shipping out the product in a timely fashion.Turnaround time on multi orders due to chroming of certain parts being shipped to chromer and shipped back for delivery not to include powder coating parts during assembly and later packaging for delivery as well.
