Just what every household needs. A gun that looks like a toy.

Statistically, every gun in the US kills a thousand babies an hour.

You damn baby hater. How dare you espouse common sense, we're here to be sensational in what would otherwise be a fun thread about a cool gun modification.

UK here, trying to get a licence to own a sporting gun.

Here in the UK, Airsoft guns have to be painted bright colours so they're not mistaken for the real thing. Vice versa real firearms are required to look like real firearms. I'd call that responsible.

Every time I look across at the states and see something like this, I regret the fact that us sporting shooters are lumped in with American gun owners. However cool this pistol is, it feels as if they're fundamentally disrespecting a weapon that's designed to kill.

Painting a gun to look like a kid's toy is like mocking up a high voltage fusebox to look like a box of Oreos. It's the exact opposite of responsible. Especially when toddlers killed more people in the US than terrorists in 2015.

Oh God, please don't. I like our socialised healthcare and welfare state. Go "liberate" another Latin American democracy or some shit.

In all those incidents of toddlers shooting themselves/other people, i doubt it made any difference what color the gun was, some irresponsible jackass let a toddler get their hands on a gun.

Doesn't matter what color the gun is, you can still respect it as the deadly weapon it is and should probably keep it away from someone who can't handle it.

Probably, but that doesn't make it all right to colour a gun like a kid's toy. That's the epitome of disrespecting a weapon. Would you colour a hand-drill like a star wars blaster, or a knife like a lightsaber, or rat poison like skittles?! No! If you don't have kids it's immature as fuck and if you do, what kind of responsible parent are you?

I'm sure not every American gun owner is like that, but from what filters its way over here, it's as if you guys don't even respect guns. It's as if it's another toy for you guys. And our government keeps pointing to you guys as an example of why we have to restrict our guns further!

You're genuinely making it hard for us to shoot as a recreational hobby, never mind the farmers and hunters who require guns for the job. All they need to say is "BUT AMERICA" and we have to fall back to trying to persuade them that we're not as insane as you.

Please, for the love of god, stop making life so hard for gun owners in the rest of the civilised world and start respecting the things you claim to love so much.
