Future is bright, for sure. With the right mixture of a few players and better tactics, we should be in a fantastic position next year.

Too bad LVG won't be around to taste the fruits of his labor.

It was one hell of a ride. I've never experienced so many ups and downs in one season.

We're in the round of 16, then we're not, twice.

We finish 4th, oh wait, 10 minutes later we lose.

We're top of the league, we don't win a game in 8. I think that's what pushed people over the edge.

This season has been good other than that spell towards the beginning of winter. I don't think Mourinho would be our manager if we had a fit squad during that spell, but it's football you need to make do with what you have.

Van Gaal shot himself in the foot by purposely thinning down the squad to play the youth. I think if we had Van Persie, he wins us another game or two.

I'm tired of the managerial situation, if we find success it will only delay confronting the 800 pound gorilla in the room, who have turned us into Arsenal.

That is our entire season in a sentence. A better striker, or a more prolific RW and our entire season is different. Luke Shaw at LB so Memphis can play LW and Martial RW or CF, changes our season.

Our attack is the only problem we have and LVG has made it clear we couldn't get players we wanted.

I think we did well for this season given the talent in the squad and our injury crises. 1 cup and tied for 4th. I wouldn't call that a failure.

The negative rhetoric was loaded by the media and bought by the fans and there was no way to turn it around. Nothing positive was ever appreciated under LVG including this FA cup win. It's been sullied by immediate news of Mourinho.

I actually don't think our biggest problem was our attack at all - I would argue our biggest problem was our defence. We didn't have capable defensive-minded players in our team to lay the foundation for our attacks.

We couldn't play expansive attack-minded football because if we did, we were very exposed at the back. Smalling and DDG can't save us all the time. Jones and Basti were perpetually injured, Rojo was either injured or in bad form, Darmian struggled to adapt at times and Shaw was out for the season. Schneiderlin is less of an all-out defensive player, but a B2B, defensive CM so he took some time to get used to his new role.

I fail to understand people and media when they are ok with Mourinho/SAF being defensive ("Attack wins you games, defense wins you titles") and are absolutely against LVG building the right tactical and technical foundations for tomorrow. After all, being defensive is all about having a solid foundation at the back, for each match.
