So it's basically something beginners feel ?

Absolutely. It will hurt. You'll want to do more reps, more resistance, and run faster. You can't, but you will in time.

Word of advice: compare yourself and your skills to yourself, and no one else. You're getting stronger every day. You're doing more than you were last week. Keep going.

Dude I feel weak and useless when I'm lifting 200kg deadlifts. I don't know how common that is, but there's never a point where I'm satisfied because I always believe I can do better/be stronger/focus more.

It probably isn't the most healthy mindset but I'm just telling you how it is for me.

I can understand that. I feel the same way. It's like I'm Wasting time and potential when I get tired

Push-ups are hard if you are heavy and out of shape. Not only are they a pushing exercise, they require core strength. You can make them easier by keeping your feet lower than your hands. For example, put your hands up a stair or two on a staircase. You can also put your knees down instead. You could work on the pushing and core parts separately by doing light bench presses and planks.

You might want to just hit the gym and lift weights instead because body weight exercises are hard. It takes alot more mastery over your body in order to get a good workout in.

I would hit the gym, but I'm not driving yet. And i can do this a lot more often than a trip to the gym. My parents aren't comfortable enough to give me the keys yet

Fair enough. It's tough but just make sure you are working as hard as you can and your rep count goes up. If you can only do 2 pushups at a time you try your damndest for 3 and don't ever quit out before the two.

Lock your diet in as well. Hit those protein macros daily no matter what.

Working out sucks in general because it takes up to 6 months for all your organs to fully adapt. Not just your brain (CNS) but even your blood needs to adapt to the need to transfer nutrition and energy to where it needs to go.

Undoing years or decades of bad fitness is contrary to the brain's hunger for dopamine. You're trading easy couch surfing for actual movement, and your brain isn't happy about it. Give it 6 months of training and diet conformity and you'll start to love it.

I love the gym. I hate rest days, I wish I could work out every day. Every week I look better than the week before. Every week I get more compliments from people I don't know. It's worth the shitty 6 month transition period.
