Hello everyone.

First of all, these last few days have been hectic and the mod team recognizes that. Each of us is sorry for putting you through all this drama and we commend you for behaving so well during this time.

Now we will clue you in on the events of today, so there is no more confusion as to what went down.

There never really was a "Hacker," or at least anybody who hacked our accounts. It all started when yesterday a user (who goes by "MemeMaster" generally) decided to dox multiple r/fivenightsatfreddys users. For those who are clueless, a "dox" is when you use multiple methods to retrieve information about a person online and collect it in an easily accessible place for people to read. This user managed to get info on Dawko, Razzbowski, SpringWeb, Sonicyay2, and Decoder.

In attempt to quickly put an end to things, SpringWeb offered his account to MemeMaster in exchange to take down the doxxes and stop doxxing people altogether. At first, the deal would have gone through with SpringWeb stepping down as mod and MemeMaster using his account for whatever it was he wanted. Unfortunately, the post SpringWeb made about saying goodbye startled invaderzz. As chaos sparked on the sub, Frodo and Decoder sought help from another user and invited them to help with the mod team.

All at once, invaderzz freaked. He banned SpringWeb's account, followed by Frodo's and Decoders. His assumption was that this doxxer had gotten ahold of all of our accounts and was now trying to take over the sub. He was doing the right thing, but in the end it was all just a huge misunderstanding. He also mistakenly used the word "Hacker" which, (if you've been online at all,) is a large trigger word in terms of drama.

Spring, Frodo, and Decoder had no means of contacting Invaderzz. Try as they did, he immediately assumed everything coming from them was false, and even when he finally came to realize who they were he was upset with them for breaking moderator rules. Invaderzz opened a temporary subreddit to keep everyone in a calm, safe place. Things were at a standstill.

It was invaderzz's understanding that all of the users save for himself had been "hacked" and that the accounts were being used by one puppetmaster who was having his way with the sub. This is why he created all those posts about trusting nobody and not clicking links. It's also important to mention that Spring's acccount at this time was being used by MemeMaster to send links to invaderzz, adding to his paranoia. But now, all of the mods have come together to resolve the problem. We get along, and once all of us talked it out we realized that it was you guys who came first, and that this drama was just getting in the way.

Somewhere during this time, Spring finally got his account stolen by MemeMaster who is still using it. It has been banned from this subreddit. Since he never held up his end of the deal, and the doxxes are still up, Spring will return to the mod team with a new account. Should be a fun time.

Now the mod team welcomes you back home, where we've just finished tidying up and we assure you, there's really nothing to worry about. When it comes to drama like this we always pull through. We're FNaF fans, we know how to take care of ourselves in dire situations. We know how to solve puzzles, like punching our phone number into a wall. If we were meant to fall apart as a community, wouldn't that have already happened by now?
