This is such horseshit, who would have thought that going at dusk vs peak tourist hours would be different. Number 2 is also horribly photoshopped with shadows comming from all directions and tons of awful clone stamping.Pick a ring color and find all the others just like it. I'm fairly sure this is %100 a composite image and nothing in it was ever together.

Yes, because it was never even meant to look real. It's from a National Geographic article called 'The One Billionth Tourist' where it explicitly states:

How long before the Acropolis looks like this? Fictitious photocomposite courtesy National Geographic Traveler

(My bold.)

It's meant to look ridiculous, but whoever wrote this article is either too stupid to notice, or too devious to care.

Given that they haven't credited a single one of the original photographers, I suspect the latter.

Edit: As you'll see below, /u/13798246 has uncovered that OP, /u/kepler54, is in fact the author of this article, and is indeed a devious little liar and photo thief. Or at least his 'friend' is.

Edit 2: Oh, and he's deleted that photo now too, it seems.

The problem is it was represented as real from this site.

Yes, because this site is nothing but utterly ridiculous click-bait.

I'm glad we agree that this "article" is trash then.

reply to Edit 3. ofc he did. also photo of Louvre was changed too. A lot of people will see this article, due to you others will see not photoshopped photos.

So, is there any other suggestions ?

Yeah, don't steal photos in the first place.

And what about all the other ones? You took them yourself, I presume. Or should I do an image search on those too, to find out who the real copyright holders who you should be crediting and paying are?

Oh, and stop pretending it's your friend. Take responsibility for your own actions.

haha man, really, as i said below (i don't know who i replied to), my friend is sitting right behind me, i am not pretending :D, i am just a gamer, i even don't know how to publish an article. I am just writing here all what he is telling me to say!, btw there is a magic button in Google - "Labeled for reuse", you can find it in Google Image filters.

If he's sitting right behind you, why didn't you just show him your post earlier, instead of sending him the URL?

Seriously, do you have an idea how pathetically you are coming across?

Just give up on this, learn from your mistakes, take responsibility for your own actions, and start doing things properly like an adult.

Man, you are talking with me like i am your enemy, did i sent you any viruses? did i give you a website url where are TONS of ads, pop-ups, pop-unders ? what do you want from me? it was just a clear web page without any annoying things, but no There was TWO wrong images, so "I can't live with it. I have to blame this guy."

Do you know website called FACEBOOK ? So when you say to your friend that his job got very negative comments, what should he say ? gimme a link RIGHT ? so the perfect way to fastly send the link is Facebook.

Why should i lie ? what's the point ? as i said i am a gamer, i have my own YouTube channel with Gaming videos.

God that is a horrific job.

Loads of the photos from previous parts are heavily tone mapped messes.
