The news about the Polish girl in Cornwall who complained of classroom racism hanging herself with a tie at school was genuinely heartbreaking. I'm part Asian myself and growing up wasn't particularly easy here. Coming across this news really hit a nerve. Just remember lads, never belittle someone just because they're a little different. Growing up is hard enough as it is, don't make it any harder than it needs to be. May she rest in peace.

Jesus that is sad. I hate hearing about young people who having problems in school that take their own lives. They just don't know that things will get better and that they won't be at school for the rest of their lives. School can be hard, but it will end eventually then you can escape all the hate and abuse from immature kids.

My commute to work yesterday morning was disrupted by these 3 clowns. One of the busiest roads into Belfast ffs.

Was at my best mates stag last weekend, Todds Leap Activity Centre. Fully recommended it for fellow Norn Irish, brilliant day and then we hit Omagh that night. The women in Omagh, holy shit. Full of stunners.

It's been exactly a week now since I decided to drop out of university and move back in with my parents. My dad and I have already started fighting over the same dumb things we did a a year ago, so nothings changed much. We're going to the states for a month, so I've got till mid July to relax and figure out what I want to do. Currently trying to get a job at sainsbury's just so I can help contribute to the family and to keep me from going bored out of my mind.

In other news, I've been completely hooked on Zootopia since I watched it for the first time last week. Since then, I think I've rewatched it a solid 5 times and I'll probably watch it again today. First though, I'm going to try my hand at creative writing again. I've got so many ideas bouncing around in my head, I want to see if I can get any of them down on to paper.

I did one year of Pharmacology years ago and then dropped out, dossed around - travelled, worked for a few years then did 5 years in a job in London before joining a Law school to study.

/u/aflyingfatman, you have so much time in your life to decide what you want to do and I've only really appreciated that since I left a comfortable job and gone to study law, which I am loving.

Don't let people (or yourself) pressure you into living your life too quickly.

Hey man, I know what that's like. I dropped out about a week before the end of my second year due depression and daily panic attacks over a mix of hating my course and being terrified of anyone finding out I hadn't done any work all year. When I moved home I started arguing with my dad over every little thing and didn't get a full time job for three months.

As soon as I did the arguments subsided. If your dad is anything like mine then whilst he may be a little disappointed he mainly just wants to see you apply yourself, see that you're not a hopeless, feckless dickhead who has spent most of the last two years either too drunk or too stoned to live in the real world.

You're doing the right thing by looking for a job straight off the bat. I wish I had done it sooner, it would have relieved so much tension. Even if it is a shitty job. When I eventually got one it was doing something I could never have imagined myself doing but I ended up loving it and stayed for three years whilst at the same time deciding what I wanted to actually do with my life.

I played on Tuesday.. Coming out of goalkeeper retirement. We were playing in a small tournament and we had THE worst American guy on our team. I got pissed and put someone else in goal cause we were losing. Straight from the kick off, the American guy lost the ball and I chased back to block a shot, turned my ankle and all 85kg of my weight landed on it. Won't be able to play now for at least a month.

Nightmare! I play weekly on Sundays but it's so much slower so I'm just not used to having to be quick >_>. Also been playing on a pulled calf that hasn't healed properly for the last month or 2 which hasn't helped. Hope your ankle gets better soon boss!

It's a 21+ exam in Holland. Its kind of an IQ test, where they measure your intellect on multiple subjects. I failed my highschool finals by 0.03, about 4 years ago. So I decided to work and do the colloquium doctum when I was 21. Gonna do an education in journalism :)

It's trying to be sunny in Manchester today however I definitely got out of bed on the wrong side this morning.

I've agreed to do the 5:2 diet with the Mrs to show a bit of support so she's not on her own doing it (and to trim down the ever growing beer gut) and shit me eating 500 calories is hard. Yesterday I had a pot of fecking Edamame beans for dinner and a bit of salmon for tea, I felt like I was re-enacting the conditions shown in Bridge on the River Kwai.

On the plus side.. CUP FINAL TOMORROW LADS!

Sadly no ticket in the allocation but going to have a few mates round and catch up on those much needed beers.

Finished Uncharted 4. What a great way to wrap up Drake's story while at the same time opening up for future games in the franchise.

What an astonishing achievement by Naughty Dog is on every front; a truly next-gen game. They've taken the best parts of Uncharted and The Last of Us and made a near-perfect package. I'm amazed what they've managed to squeeze out of an admittedly weak console.

Next up, Doom.
